Dear patient, as Istanbul Dental Center Dis ve Agiz Sagligi Hizmetleri Ticaret Limited Sirketi (“Istanbul Dental Center”), we recognise and respect your privacy and personal data protection. In this context, we would like to inform you regarding our personal data processing activities and your rights as a data subject within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698. (“Law”)
The personal data of our patients are obtained from you, our system, public authorities and institutions including Ministry of Health and enforcement offices, via system, orally, email, forms, official notice or by hand and processed within the purposes and legal grounds stated below in accordance with the main principles stated in the Law and stored securely during the retention period which is determined in line with the purposes mentioned below.
- The Purpose of Processing of Patient Personal Data
- The purposes of processing of the personal data being processed based on “explicitly provided by the laws” and “mandatory for the controller to fulfil its legal obligations” legal grounds:
- inform authorised persons, public authorities, and institutions
- perform accounting and financial operations
- maintain activities and operations in line with the applicable regulations
- execution of storage and archive activities
- The purposes of processing of the personal data being processed based on “directly necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract to which the data subject is party” legal ground:
- execution of goods / service sales and operation processes
- The purposes of processing of the personal data being processed based on “the necessity of protecting public health, preventive or occupational medicine, medical diagnosis and carrying out of care activities.” legal ground:

Identity Information of the parent / guardian and representative can also be processed if the documents are signed by the parent / guardian or representative. In this context, the rights specified in the article 5 of this privacy notice can also be exercised by the parents / guardians, representatives.
- Transferring the Patient’s Personal Data / Transferring Abroad
The personal data of our patients can be transferred to public authorities and institutions; Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, Revenue Administration, District Health Administration, Ministry of Health – Patient Rights, constable, judicial authorities and our suppliers; public accountant within the purposes and legal grounds stated below in accordance with the main principles stated in the Law.

In order to ensure the security of your data, letter of commitments are taken from third parties in all transfers and data transfer is carried out in secure ways.
- Rights of Patients
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you may submit your requests regarding your rights by filling the Istanbul Dental Center KVKK Application Form at www.istanbuldentalcenter.com attached to the Istanbul Dental Center Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy and send to kvkk@idcclinic.com. As Istanbul Dental Center, we will review your request as soon as possible and finalise it within thirty (30) days at the latest.
- Find out whether your personal data is being processed,
- Request further information if your personal data is processed,
- Find out the purpose of processing and whether personal data is being used compatible with that purpose,
- Know the third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
- Request rectification if the personal data is processed incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction of personal data in accordance with article 7 of the Law,
- Request notification to the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred with respect to the article 11(d) and 11(e) of the Law,
- Object to the processing, if your personal data is analysed exclusively by automatic means and leads to an unfavourable consequence for you,
- Request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.
